Limitless Computing Named a 2013 Gartner “Cool Vendor” in Augmented Reality

We are pleased to announce that Gartner has included Limitless Computing as a Cool Vendor in its report on Human-Machine Interface.

We believe this is a great acknowledgement of our Augmented Reality technology, VYZAR, and the impact it is making in the industry.  Clients are incorporating our technology into many industrial fields ranging from architecture and construction to 3D printing to film and stage.  By visualizing 3D designs prior to construction or manufacturing, they reduce on-site miscommunication, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Summary: Over the past two years, in-air gesture and touch control have captured most of developers’ mind share, resulting in feedback-limited interfaces. A multimodal approach that includes speech recognition, together with a foray into brain wave sensing, promises to enrich the HMI.
